The start of this year's Enduro rally first stage will be given at the military training ground during Joninės. Four hundred participants will participate in different classes according to the equipment they drive. 
The Enduro rally competition, which will take place on Saturday, June 25th, at the Gaižiūnai military training ground, can be called one of the largest in the Baltic States. Already 15 years lasting competition, this year will gather more than 400 participants, who will ride motorcycles and ATVs in seven qualifying classes and one additional Tourist class.
"It is always a pleasure to organize a celebration for off-road enthusiasts. I emphasize the celebration, because when there are a lot of participants, the mood is always good. Everyone gets what they come for, and moreover, the opportunity to see old friends and still compete against each other always adds extra charm to the event. Sometimes it seems that only athletes who have not repaired their motorcycles or those who have conflicts with the other events are not taking part on June 25th rally,” says the organizer of the competition Paulius Albertavičius.
About 20 checkpoints await participants in this competition, which will require demonstrating their ability to drive and orientate on forest roads, tracks, blocks and logging sites. For the dessert, strips of sand tracks are prepared, so the victory will require a hard work. It will be easier only for those who register for the non-creditable Tourist class.
"After organizing Enduro Rally for many years, we clearly understand that the place is very important, so it is not without a reason why the route goes through the territory of the military training ground. Those that haven’t been here has no idea what a specific place it is and attracts everyone who has already been here. It is practically banned for public use. Only thanks for the military positive attitude towards the motorcyclists and the responsible behavior of our organizers, we got a one-day "window" when we can use the sandy sections of the military ground for the competition.
Every year we pay attention to our strongest participants and complete newcomers, who usually start in the Tourist class. For the beginners everything is simplified to a minimum, the most important thing is to have the right equipment and a partner or several since individual participation is prohibited. It is a real challenge to overcome one of the prepared routes of the organizers (one can choose usual or more difficult), however it attracts the participants the most,” said the organizer of the event Paulius Albertavičius.
The first stage of the "Enduro Rally" should be especially relevant for the participants who plan to participate in all three (one stage in Latvia) and hope to be invited to the awards ceremony of the year of the Lithuanian Motorcycle Sports Federation.
The event will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday and finish at about 6 p.m. on the same day. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 8 p.m. and until then, the most memorable moments captured during the competition will be shown.
The organizers plan to continue the tradition by rewarding every third participant in the standings, which means 30 percent best participants in their class will receive valuable prizes. Therefore, all participants will receive commemorative diplomas for finishing difficult up to 100 kilometers route.

Main condition for the participants:
The right to participate in ER has a person:
- Holding annual or one-time LMSF or LaMSF enduro license;
- Holding an appropriate driving license category to drive a transport mean, participating in the race;
- Holding a technical passport of a transport mean, participating in the race;
- Having proper equipment and start package for participating in the race.
Start package
Team must have a start package, which consists of:
o GPS tracker (except TOURIST class), provided by the judges during additional registration (will need to have deposit of 100 Eur and one of the team members must route the wires from the battery. More detail about this: enter.pdf);
o Bracelets for scanning (except TOURIST class), provided by the judges during the additional registration;
o Navigator (race route have to be implemented in it)
o Mobile phone with a fully charged battery;
o Rope (recommended);
o First aid box (recommended);
o Drinkable liquids (recommended).
Division into classes
There are seven classes in total (one of which is not ranked):
- HARD enduro – up to129 kg;
- Hard HOBBY – up to 129 kg (the rider didn’t have an annual LMSF or LaMSF licence for the last 3 years and also haven’t finished in top 3 places in this class)
- SOFT enduro - from130 kg and more;
- Sport ATV – wheels formula 4x2;
- Utility ATV – wheels formula 4x4;
- SSV quad – the team consists of two with one quad
- Tourist – there are no regulations for number of participants in a team, nor for moto technique.
TOURIST class – there are no special requirements for the technique or number of participants in the team. This is non-ranked class with official starts. Diplomas for the successfully passed SOFT Class Orienteering Route will be granted (photos of all CP will have to be provided to judge).
Starting numbers
Starting numbers will be provided by organizational team on the day of race. Stickers have to be sealed on the helmet and moto technique.

Main rules for the race:
1.3.1 All the team must drive through rally mandatory route (indicated in navigator), fitting in time norm and to photograph set check stations (written number on different objects) in sequence.
1.3.2 Number of check stations will be published before start.
1.3.4 Penalty seconds will be counted for missing photographed stations and exceeded time norms.
1.3.4. Total length of enduro rally route will be published before start (usually about 100 km).
1.3.5. Route contains special stretches (SS). Each of them has work time (is published in additional race regulations). In SS the times are of completion are taken, which will determine the winners.
1.3.6. Finish is fixed after it is reached by the last member of a team.
1.3.7. Team consists of 2 members in all classes (except Tourist).
Fees for participating in the race
- Mandatory sports license for enduro LMSF. One-time enduro license - 10 Eur ( paid with start fee)
- Start fee – 80 Eur
- From the date 2022-06-24 registration for race is closed
- Tourist class (there are no regulations for number of participants in a team, nor for moto technique; the class doesn’t take part in rally lap standings; no license nor insurance needed). Participation fee – 40 Eur (From 2022-06-16 till 2022-06-25 fee – 50 Eur)
